Competitive

Swimmer’s age is used at both the Provincial and National level to determine their placement for competition. A swimmer’s age is determined as of December 31 of the competing season. We offer programs for Provincial Stream Competitive athletes.

Swimmers compete and are ranked against other swimmers at local and provincial meets. The competitive year runs from September to June. This is a competitive synchronized swimming program for boys and girls with or without synchro experience.

10 years  & Under

Swimmers practice 2 times weekly for approximately 5 hours in total in our beginner 10U program. Experienced 10U add a third practice every second week to the practice schedule.  Training includes endurance and stroke improvement at each practice in addition to technical synchronized swimming skills. Boys and Girls participate in both individual compulsory technical figures and a choreographed routine at competitions. The team may include swimmers who are older than 10 years of age, as long as the average of the team is 10 & under. All swimmers compete compulsory figures for their appropriate age, even if they are on a team of blended ages.
