Recreational Program – Session #2

As one of the largest synchronized swimming clubs in Ontario, our certified coaches offer proven successful Synchro programs to boys and girls 7 years of age to 50+ years and all skill level and interests. Swimmers may remain in the Learn to Synchro stream for their whole synchro career. In this stream, swimmers do not compete and are not ranked against other swimmers. But it can also act as an introduction and foundation before a transition to the competitive program takes place. There are many choices for you and your swimmer!

Participants learn the sport of synchronized swimming progressing through 4 levels. Each level has categories which encourage Speed, Stamina, Strength, Suppleness and Synchro Skills. Pool space is shared with competitive synchro teams. Participants will learn a routine for a demonstration at the end of the session.  Programs runs 1.5 hours weekly  during 15 weeks.

MSSA offers two different recreational swimming programs. Pick the one that best fits your child needs and availability:

fundraiser on October 29th, 2017 from 6:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The event will take place at the Erin Meadows Community Centre Pool
in Mississauga, Ontario.
Swimmers will seek pledges from friends and family during the month
of October. They will then come together and participate in the pool
event at the end of the month. This will allow them to celebrate their
efforts and hopefully raise awareness of the need for ongoing
research in the fight against breast cancer.
Swimmers can choose to collect donations online or, if they prefer,
they can use the 2017 Burning Bright Pledge Form found under
Members, Forms on the MSSA website. More information about online
