BIG PINK Thank You!

burning-bright-logoFor the 13th year in a row, the Mississauga Synchronized Swimming Association hosted the Burning Bright for Breast Cancer fundraiser event raising over $33,000 with over $3,000 just this year alone! Swimmers took time out from their regular practice to show support for breast cancer research by keeping a “torch” burning in the pool for the duration of the event. The “torch” was passed from swimmer to swimmer in a relay-type format and signified the club’s belief that the fight against breast cancer is still alive.

We are very proud of all the girls for their continued dedication and teamwork. Well-done girls! Team rosters include: 10 and under Team – Aylssa, Sofia, Myra, Ria, Sophia, Jessie, Chelsey, Angelina, Mya, Calleigh, Sofia; 11-12 Team – Emma, Lindsey, Madison, Angelina, Nadine, Angie and second 11-12 Team – Dea, Pauline, Kaia, Julia, Georgia, Carly, Rylin, Ariel, Emily; 13-15 Team – Caroline, Olivia, Ashly, Calista, Rang, Olivia; 16-20 Team – Brittany, Sienna, Emily, Alyssia, Mya, Morgan; Novice Competitive Team – Sydney, Aliana, River, Calley, Marie-Lys, Emily, Mariella.
